This class will explore key concepts that will make your experience with yoga safe and enjoyable. The essentials of joint warming, standing poses, floor poses and yoga breathing will be covered. Whether you are just starting out, or getting back on the mat after a hiatus, this class will provide valuable tools for your yoga practice. If you have been doing yoga and never attended a fundamentals class, take this opportunity to get back to basics…the building blocks can make all the difference. This class appropriate for all experience levels.
Janiece believes that the human body needs to move in order to stay healthy, and that yoga should be accessible for everyone. She teaches by building the poses sequentially, from the ground up, providing modifications as needed to make sure every student can participate and feel successful in their practice.
